Highcross Horseboxes has roots deeply embedded in the industry. We’ve built trucks for over 30 years, and are a team who has competed British Show Jumping at Area Trials level and evented internationally at 5* level.
Our horseboxes are built in-house to your exacting specification, boasting luxurious accommodation and modern facilities. They are designed and engineered to include the strength and safety you’d expect from a premium horsebox; the well-being of your horse is our top priority. Highcross Horseboxes are available to be exported worldwide. Each horsebox we build reflects our tireless commitment to quality, reliability and innovation.
Safety
Safety is at the heart of Highcross Horseboxes Ltd, which is why our builds are all-aluminium and our ramps are hydraulic to open, making closing easier. When designing our horseboxes we take extra consideration to the internal sizes, grip of the horse area and ramp, cappings, airflow and ventilation, safety paddings and payloads. Our partitions are bespoke and made out of stainless steel with additional padding. They also boast rubber kick mats. In the horse area, we have euro-compliant fans to keep your horse cool whilst travelling, and CCTV so you can keep an extra eye on them whilst in transit. At vehicle handover, we demonstrate all our horsebox safety features so you drive away with that extra peace of mind. We are constantly reviewing and developing safety features for our builds to ensure we remain one of the market leaders in this area.

We are constantly assessing the specification of our builds to enssure they remain modern and meet the high bar in terms of comfort and quality that our Highcross Horsebox customers have become accustomed to and reply upon. Are you looking for a new-build horsebox and wonder what sets Highcross Horseboxes LTD apart? All our builds are meticulously created in-house, starting with the chassis being treated before built on, and ending with seven coats of paint in our onsite spraying booth. No corners are cut in our robust process, providingour clients with superior quality vehicles.
Every one of our horseboxes are aluminium builds, with handmade doors, stainless steel partitions, hydraulic ramps, cctv, euro- compliment fans and Italian leather interiors. For paintwork we use etch coat, then two layers of primer, followed by three coats of base coat, then three coats of lacquer, with sanding down taking place between each stage of the process. They are then baked in our oven booth for the ultimate, immaculate finish in the colour scheme of your choice.
