Horsebox Exterior
We want our builds to ooze the ‘wow’ factor and that starts with our high-gloss paintwork. We use bonded windows, to ensure they look seamless and give a ‘one window’ effect whilst remaining at the highest standard for safety. All external doors are made in-house, meaning they are all robust and of identical high quality.
We are incredibly proud to build using insulated aluminium frame work rather than GRP or composite panels. This material offers unique longevity and means you will have a horsebox you can rely on, years down the line. It also means our builds retain excellent resale value, should you ever wish to move it on in the future.
We are meticulous with our attention to detail and with that in mind, we build off a CAD (Computer Aided Design) drawing to ensure 100% accuracy in our measurements.
Horsebox Interior
Our living areas are fully bespoke; no two Highcross Horseboxes look the same and represent the individual sat behind the wheel. With that in mind, we work to create a bespoke space, with a choice of wood type for the wall finish and design, plus colour of the hand-made Italian leather seating. All furniture in your new horsebox will be handcrafted; our professional cabinet makers take pride in making the cupboards and units for all our builds.
We design the interior of a Highcross Horsebox with a contemporary style. Usability and style with your personal twist is the look we strive for. As horse owners who spend days, sometimes weeks at a time in our horsebox, we appreciate the need for home comforts at your finger tips whilst on the road. You will enjoy luxury amenities you’d rely on at home. Our bathrooms are spacious, with a corner shower, hot and cold water and a sink.
The standard 7.5t Highcross Horsebox build is designed to comfortably accommodate up to six guests, so you will have plenty of space and sleeping arrangements to entertain friends and family.
Luxuries include, but are not limited to, an independent electrical charging system, LED lighting throughout, onboard Wifi and inbuilt USB charging points.
Horsebox Horse Area
We firmly believe that your horse deserves to be as comfortable as you are in your new-build horsebox. We take extra care to cater for the height of your horse and hand-craft our partitions to fit their requirements. We build them internally, which gives you the flexibility to choose a full or half partition and headboard style.
Our euro-compliant fans offer optimum ventilation, allowing your horse to remain comfortable and cool whilst travelling. We want horses to end their journey as fresh as they were at the beginning and have a temperature monitoring system in the cab to help assess this. There is also CCTV fitted in the horse area, so you have peace of mind and can safely keep an eye on your horse whilst travelling. There are window opening facilities to the front and rear of the horse area, plus LED and night lights throughout. We use one piece 15ml rubber matting on the floor-mounted aluminium plank flooring to ensure no shoes catch and the horse area can stay clean.
